This wine is made from 100% Primitivo grapes grown in the Manduria area (Puglia) using the bush-trained system on fertile limestone-clay soils with deep layers of red earth; a Mediterranean climate and temperature swings complete the "terroir."
Tasting notes
It features a ruby red color with violet reflections; on the nose, fine and delicate hints of small red fruits are accompanied by notes of plum and black cherry. On the palate, it is soft and enveloping, as is characteristic of the variety, but always well-balanced by its acidity. The long, rich finish makes it a complete and intriguing wine.

Food and wine pairings
A versatile companion at the table, it pairs well with both elaborate first courses and white or red meat main courses; also excellent with medium-aged cheeses.
