FROM VINEYARD TO WINERY
Our terroir is the foundation of who we are. It shapes our identity and guides our relationships with local growers, whose vineyards on the slopes of Mount Taburno represent the most authentic expression of this land.
Our Land
Our vineyards lie between the Taburno Massif, the Matese Mountains, and the eastern ridge of the central-southern Apennines, in the Upper Tammaro and Fortore areas.
The soils are mainly alluvial, medium-textured, and rich in gravel. White varieties such as Falanghina thrive on clay-based soils, while Aglianico and other red varieties grow best on limestone-rich terrain.
Rooted in a land of wine and culture, Cantina Ocone reflects a vision shaped by heritage, courage, and respect for tradition. Every sip reflects the identity and soul of the Sannio.
